Outloud – Love Catastrophe (2011)

Outloud’s history dates back to 2004 in Athens, Greece, when young Tony Kash started taking guitar lessons from Bob Katsionis of the band FIREWIND. Chandler Mogel (from the US) was contacted and immediately flown in from New York to record at Bob's studio in Greece and in three days' time the three of them recorded a bunch of songs that surprised even themselves! Jason Mercury, Tony's best friend, was given the position of the bass player, while Bob called his band mate at the time, veteran skin-beater Mark Cross with whom he had been playing with in Firewind before.  The five of them started to jam over the existing ideas and added the final arrangements and finishing touch to Outloud’s music and in September 2008 the band entered Basement Studio in Athens and recorded their debut album. Mixed and mastered by none other than Tommy Hansen (Helloween, TNT, Pretty Maids), the album was described by the press as "a mixture of Riot’s Fire Down Under, Skid Row's debut album, TNT’s Tell No Tales with some Foreigner melodic elements." The album was released in August 2009 - with Sverd T. Soth (Bare Infinity) replacing Jason Mercury on Bass shortly after the release - to rave reviews worldwide and ended up on many top ten lists by year's end, and the album was voted "Best Album of the Year" in BW&BK/Bravewords.com.

Both video clips of their singles We Run and Tonite (2010), which have since garnered well over 100,000 views on Youtube, were directed by Bob.  "We Run" ranked #3 in Greek Metal Hammer's 2009 reader's polls in the BEST VIDEO CLIP category as well as being in regular rotation on MTV in Greece.  It also ended up getting a spot on the esteemed German Metal Hammer Magazine DVD compilation.  The song landed “Track of the Day” on Classic Rock Magazine’s website on June 26th, 2009, and was also included on a handful of CD compilations such as MelodicRock.com and Rock Hard.

Outloud, having made a successful headline tour of Greece in December '09 and a companion national Greek TV appearance in front of more than one million viewers,  have inked a brand new deal with AOR Heaven for their sophomore release, which was recorded in the Summer of 2010 and once again produced by Bob and mixed and mastered by Tommy Hansen.

The band ensures a memorable performance both sonically and visually once again.  The debut single/video clip Waiting For Your Love, the anthemic We Came To Rock, the thunderous Live Again, the magnificent Falling Rain, the modern sounding Isolation Game and the heart-wrenching ballad Someday are just a few of the highlights Outloud presents with their new release.

Additionally, Outloud has developed into a strong and formidable live act, with 10 headline shows already under their belt in their native country of Greece in just under a year's time including two festival headlines and spanning five different cities, and opening for Twisted Sister in Athens this Summer, the band now prepares to take to the world stage with album #2 - entitled “Love Catastrophe”.

Tracklist: 1. We Came To Rock, 2. Falling Rain, 3. Live Again, 4. Waiting For Your Love, 5. The Night That Never Ends, 6. Someday, 7. Underground, 8. Isolation Game, 9. Clean Hands, 10. Love Catastrophe
