LECHERY

IN FIRE (2011)

LECHERY was formed in 2004 when the current line-up was completed, but the embryo was born several years earlier when Martin Bengtsson had left Arch Enemy to create his own music. The four members had played together in different bands before and finally the right musical direction was set. Four members with different musical backgrounds and with wide spread influences sure helped to create the sound of LECHERY.

After a couple of years of playing small clubs and festivals LECHERY recorded their debut album ”Violator” in 2008. It was a great success in the classic Heavy metal countries, but also in the U.S.
LECHERY went out on the road, and played on and off in all 2008 and 2009 both on major festivals and some smaller club gigs.

In late 2010 the four-piece again entered the studio to record a new album, and once again the recordings took place in ”The sweet spot”, with Rickard Bengtsson as producer, who also has worked with such bands as Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars, Armageddon etc.
The recordings became a struggle, with band members involved into accidents and injuries as well as in personal tragedies. But LECHERY did rise again and the new album ”In Fire” finally is an record that by far tops the bands expectations. This second album is much more varied than ”Violator” - and still it´s classic heavy metal at it´s best. The whole feeling is that the band and their music has grown several steps.

This release was mixed by Rickard Bengtsson and mastered at Platinum Mastering in Stockholm. “In Fire” is an album that is filled with pure heavy metal.

VIOLATOR (2008)

Lechery was formed in 2004 when the current line-up was completed, but the embryo was born when Martin Bengtsson left Arch Enemy and Armegeddon. The four members had played together in different bands before and finally the right musical direction was set. Four members with different musical backgrounds and with wide spread influences sure helped to create the sound with songs based on guitar riffs and melodies with a solid rhythm ground.
Two demo tapes have been recorded and the second one ended up with a contract with Metal Heaven.

The album “Violator” was recorded at “The Sweet Spot in Halmstad and produced by Rickard Bengtsson, who also has worked with such bands as Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars, Armegeddon etc.  Rickard had also produced the Lechery demo tapes and the band felt it to be natural to work with him again because of the good work he had done and the fact that he understands their music. Furthermore, he also gave birth to some great ideas for the songs. The album was mixed by Rickard and mastered at Platinum Mastering in Stockholm.

The result became “Violator”, an album that is filled with pure heavy metal, just the way that Lechery wants it to be!
