German Hard Rockers SOUL DOCTOR will release their live album "That's Live" on Metal Heaven on Friday, June 27th. .

Hanover/ Berlin based Hard Rock band FAIR WARNING found a new home at German label AOR Heaven. The band is currently working on their 6th studio album which is scheduled for a release in Europe for January 2009. FAIR WARNING are well known for recording their releases at special locations - this time, their choice is a 400 year old manor located in the South of Hanover, Germany.

AOR Heaven welcomes German Melodic Rock band DREAMTIDE to it's roster! An English music journalist once wrote about the band: “only for those who like music” and suggested “Crank it up before you go out on a Saturday night. Crank it up before you eat breakfast on Wednesday morning.” He definitely was right: Dream And Deliver, the third album by the Hanover based rock band is a perfect choice for any lover of highly melodic, diverse music.
After the releases of Here Comes The Flood (2001) und Dreams For The Daring (2003), Dream And Deliver will hit the shelves in Europe on August 28th, 2008. The record once again offers what the fans of this five-piece love about them the most: high quality musicianship, catchy arrangements and great refrains – “song-orientated rock music with hit potential”, as guitarist Engelke describes the band’s sound himself.
In the year 2008, Dreamtide still consists of guitarist Helge Engelke, drummer CC Behrens, keyboard player Torsten Lüderwaldt and singer Olaf Senkbeil. Engelke, Behrens and Lüderwaldt are also members of the German Melodic Rock band Fair Warning. New in the line-up is bassist Francis Buchholz who joined the group in 2007 when replacing Thunderhead’s Ole Hempelmann. The skilled bass man is well known for his time with the Scorpions which he was a member with until 1992. Buchholz and singer Olaf Senkbeil during the previous two years also have been members of the band of guitarist Uli Jon Roth – another former member of the Scorpions.
As the two predecessors, Dream And Deliver once again offers distinctive guitar riffs, intelligent arrangements and catchy melodies. Musically centered around the skilled vocal performance of Senkbeil and the unique guitar playing of guitarist Helge Engelke with his unmistakable high - sometimes even violin alike - solos, the 14 included compositions truly become stand outs. Fans and media both undoubtfully will rave about this release again.

While the history of CHARING CROSS goes back into the late eighties, the actual beginning of the band as we know them today, dates back to 1993, when Pascal Zwyssig, the longest member of the current line up, joined the group. During the following years, the history of the Swiss outfit was marked by many line-up changes. During all this time, the band played numerous concerts (club shows, festivals) with some renowned acts such as NAZARETH, SUZIE QUATTRO and SOUL SIRKUS, recorded 4 demos and one EP, until at last in 2005 the current line-up was completed.
Peter Hochuli, singer and front man of CHARING CROSS, ensnares the audience with his performance and stage presence. The guitar section, consisting of Pascal Zwyssig and Andy Dormann, convinces with their powerful rhythm sound and virtuous solos. Tommy Pfiffner (drums) and Markus Flury (bass) ensure the matching driving groove, which creates the rhythm fundament of CHARING CROSS.
„We are… CHARING CROSS“ – is the name for CHARING CROSS’ first full length album which was produced and mixed by the band itself with mastering done by Dave Ponzio (DPP Studio). Marked by a varied mix of stamping Hard Rock songs, melodious Heavy Metal tunes and one ballad, the new CD exactly represents what CHARING CROSS has been standing for through all these years.

Michael Vescera rose to metal popularity at the age of 18 years as the legendary vocalist of the band Obsession. After recording 1 EP and 2 full length studio records with Obsession and numerous tours, Vescera was approached by the Japanese super group “Loudness” to front the band. After auditioning in Tokyo, Japan he became the first Western vocalist to front a Japanese group. The singer recorded 2 full length studio records, various singles, MTV videos, and one live DVD “Live at Budokan” with Loudness. After 3 years it was time to move on due to complications within the organization. He then began what would later become MVP, but had to put it on hold after being approached by Yngwie Malmsteen to be his vocalist. Vescera recorded 2 full length studio records with Malmsteen as well as an EP, various videos and also a “Live at Budokan” DVD. Both studio CD’s with Malmsteen received Platinum Awards. After 3 ½ years of recording and touring with Yngwie, Vescera started his solo career. MVP (Michael Vescera Project) released 3 CD’s and toured South America and the States. During this time the charismatic singer also fronted the group formed by Roland Grapow (guitarist of Helloween, Masterplan).

Joining Michael on this CD are Jim Bell and BJ Zampa (House of Lords), Chris McCarvill (Obsession, Jeff Scott Soto), Mats Olaussen (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark), Scott Boland, John Bruno and Jay Mezias (Obsession), Todd Kennedy and Tony Mei (XFactorX). On this CD he will be introducing two of the world’s newest “guitar master” discoveries. Joey Concepcion, a 17 year old guitar prodigy from Connecticut and Ango Tasso, a newly discovered shredder from Taiwan will also be featured.
The album was produced, engineered & mastered by Michael Vescera himself “Toy Room North” (Milford, Conneticut) and the “Toy Room South” (Nashville, TN). Vescera co-owns both studios and recently has moved to Nashville. “A sign of Things to Come” will be released by Metal Heaven, and the excitement is mounting with a July 26th, 2008 release date.

Elevener came to life as childhood friends Johan Bergquist (vocals, keyboards, bass) and Andreas Brodén (guitar, drums) joined forces in 2005 to make new music sounding as if the 90’s never had existed. Johan & Andreas had played in numerous bands together during the mid- & late eighties and then moved on to pursue new musical adventures.

Throughout the nineties Johan developed his love for progressive rock and was the lead singer/keyboardist for Swedish progsters Scenario for five years. During those years Andreas went to the USA and came back to Sweden as a slick soul & funk guitarist and earned his stripes doing studio sessions and playing clubs in Stockholm. As a keyboard player, Johan appeared on the Hammerfall album “Crimson Thunder” as well as on Stefan Elmgren’s Full Strike (both released in 2002). In 2002 Johan became the keyboard player for Swedish metal/hardrock band M.ill.ion who released the critically acclaimed “Kingsize” in 2004 and among the gigs that followed was a well received performance at the very first Firefest in 2005 and also a UK tour with MSG. In May 2008 M.ill.ion will release “Thrill of the Chase” (on AOR/Metal Heaven), an album that was recorded by Johan who also was very much involved in the song-writing (as on Kingsize previously).
At the dawn of the new millenium Johan & Andreas got together and soon realised that they both had gone full circle and returned to the music the grew up with; melodic rock/AOR. New songs were written and in 2005 the project known as “Elevener” was born. As the project rolled on it became a more & more serious matter and finally the album “When Kaleidoscopes Collide” was recorded and soon after that a deal was signed with AOR Heaven who will release the album on July 26th, 2008. The Elevener debut-album “When Kaleidoscopes Collide” was mixed by Tobias Lindell at Studio Bohus and mastered by Dragan Tanaskovic, also at Studio Bohus. The album contains 11 tracks of pure AOR, with the unique blend that is the sound of Elevener.

We are proud to announce that 101 SOUTH are coming back with a third CD following the success of their first two albums, "101 South" (2000) and "Roll Of The Dice" (2002). This new CD will feature the wonderful Gregory Lynn Hall (Rat Sally) on vocals and also Roger Scott Craig (Liverpool Express, Fortune, and Harlan Cage) on keyboards and as producer. Billy Liesegang has been lined up to do the guitars in London. Six new tracks already have been written and the new CD should be available by late 2008 through AOR Heaven. We will keep you posted.
About 101 South: During 1999, Harlan Cage keyboardist Roger Scott Craig assembled a new line-up of musicians under the banner 101 South. This project brought together many talented individuals, all seasoned and well-travelled veterans of the L.A. session scene. The trademark keyboard work of Craig is ever present, while the songs mix all-out melodic power with delicate ballads. Memorable moments such as the surging AOR of 'Nowhere To Run' and 'Your Razor Is Sharp' (surely 'Dearborn Station' Part 2) stand out among a collection of superior tracks. The press/media obviously thought so too, with 101 South being voted in numerous 'Top Ten' Rock Polls during the year 2000. Two years later, and 101 South returned with their sophomore release 'Roll Of The Dice'. Joining the band this time around was Harlan Cage cohort Billy Liesegang, giving 101 South even more guitar fuel.

After the successful and highly acclaimed release of their latest, in total 4th, studio recording entitled “Blood Runs Cold”, the time was right for SOUL DOCTOR, the energetic Hard Rock band from Berlin, Germany to release their first ever live album.
The band around singer Tommy Heart and guitarist Chris Lyne is a powerful live piece which the band impressively confirms on the “That’s Live” opus. Recorded during the years 2005-2007, the disc contains 13 songs which originally had come from all four studio albums.
„That’s Live“ will be released in Europe as limited, exclusive double CD package. Whilst CD 1 contains the live recordings, CD 2 offers for bonus tracks from the archives of the Germans, i.e. „Revolution“ (different version), „Laugh In The Face Of Danger“ (different version), „Justine“ (acoustic version) und „The Ocean“ (acoustic version). Additionally incuded in the limited edition of the his release will be a numbered tour pass as goodie for the fans. This pass also is a part of a competition where one lucky number will win a original Epiphone acoustic guitar signed by the band!

DARK SKY had been founded as a school band in the very early 80’s in the South German city of Rottweil. The release of their 3rd studio album "Living & Dying" (2005) marked the first output for their current label AOR Heaven.

One of Sweden's finest Hard Rock bands, M.ILL.ION, will unleash their sixth studio album "Thrill Of The Chase" on May 23rd. After signing the new record deal with Metal Heaven in September 2007, the album was recorded during November 2007 – January 2008. Mixing was done in February at the world class Bohus Studio (ABBA, Status Quo) in Sweden by Tobias Lindell together with B.J Laneby.

Spanish/ Swedish Metal band SANDALINAS completed the video track for "Never Seen Before". The song has been taken from the current album "Fly To The Sun" which was released on January 18th, 2008.
The video was filmed at the Fortress of Varberg (near Gothenburg in Sweden) and features in-door and out-door scenes. The Fortress was built between 1287-1300 by count Jacob Nielsen as protection against his Danish king, who had declared him an outlaw after the murder of king Eric V of Denmark. Jacob had close connections with king Eric II of Norway and did as a result get substantial Norwegian help with the construction. The fortress, as well as the half the county, became Norwegian in 1305. The grand daughter of king Eric, Ingeborg Håkansdotter came to inherit the area from her father king Haakon V of Norway. She and her husband Erik Magnusson came to establish a semi-independent state out of their Norwegian, Swedish and Danish counties until the death of Erik. They spent considerable time at the fortress. Their son, king Magnus II of Sweden/Magnus VII of Norway, came to spend considerable time at the fortress as well (extract from Wikipedia)

In 1990, guitarist Lou St. Paul formed WINTERS BANE and since that time has consistently displayed his excellent songwriting skills, playing great riffs and shredding solos over intelligent, well thought out lyrical essays. Highly impressed by Lou's playing on WINTER’S BANE’s album “Redivivus”, the A&R of Metal Heaven, Georg Siegl, asked St. Paul to write the material and put together a band to record a classic 80's metal album – and FIRES OF BABYLON is the result. St. Paul comments: “I was asked if I would write and album with known players from other bands. Of course I said yes. We put the details together and soon the project was on.”
And the music? 100% pure US Metal which, according to St. Paul, deals with “lyrical themes about relationships, struggles and triumphs, political commentary, and Biblical world views.”

INCRAVE was formed early 2001 under the name Evergrace in the Swedish town of Edsbyn. It didn't take long for them to find their own sound, however, they have been compared to bands such as Tad Morose, Nocturnal Rites, Morgana Lefay and Dream Evil. A deal was quickly inked with Ulterium Records Sweden, and September 2006 marked the release of the band's self-titled debut album.

In Summer 2007 INCRAVE once again entered Studio EVG in Edsbyn Sweden, to record the follow-up to "The Escape." This time out, the album was mixed and mastered by Per Ryberg [Morgana Lefay, Tad Morose, Bloodbound] at Studio Soundcreation, and the artwork was painted by Kristian Wåhlin [At the gates, Emperor, Therion]. The name of the new album is “Dead End.”
"The Escape" will be released on Ulterium Records on April 25th and distributed through Metal Heaven and their partners all over Europe (without Sweden).

PowerWorld is the brainchild of former FREEDOM CALL and MOON'DOC bassist Ilker Ersin. After his departure from FREEDOM CALL in the middle of 2005, Ersin decided to go different paths and started to work on an album with more grooves and less Power Metal influences. The band is completed by talented German singer Steffen Brunner, Nils Neumann (ex FREEDOM CALL), Barish Kepic (ex JADED HEART, g.) and Jürgen Lucas (At Vance, d.). Their self titled debut album will be released on March 28th, 2008.

TEMPESTT from Sao Paolo/ Brazil started in the late 90's with playing covers of bands like Journey, Kansas, Europe, Queen, Bon Jovi and Dream Theater. What specially caught the audience's attention was the form by which music was performed, and soon the cover band got a legion of admirers. After a short time, TEMPESTT played with Billy Sheehan and was chosen as the support band to the vocalist Jeff Scott Soto tour in Brazil. It did not take much time for the band components to notice that they could create their own compositions and this was precisely what they did.
On their debut album “Bring ‘Em On”, one can notice the individual musician's talent and how much these years together as a band were important to their technique. Sculpted melodies, jealous techniques and innovator sound. “Insanity Desire” is an amazing duet of TEMPESTT singer BJ and Jeff Scott Soto. The CD was produced by TEMPESTT together with co-producer Adriano Daga (Latin Grammy Winner).

Ancara is a band with honourable history, formed of long term musicians whose musical roots are deeply located in the eighties. After several member changes and new beginnings, the band got its current form in 2003.
The new, second full-length album ”Beyond the dark” will now be released in Europe (excluding Finland) through Metal Heaven. Recordings took place in Spring 2007 at Finnvox Studios and E-Major Studios in Helsinki with the production handled by the band with the help of Arto Tuunela and Emppu Vuorinen (Nightwish). Mastering was done by Mika Jussila.
”Beyond the dark” already has hit the Finnish album charts on the opening week at 9th place at the release in the band’s home country. The radio and video single ”Deny” was released from the album which has been airing frequently on the Finnish radio and music TV since.
Ancara is known to be an extraordinarily tight live band which will be touring in Finland the whole of January 2008. They also just finished their second music video from the album, called ”Just for me”. The clip is included on the European version as bonus together with another video for “Deny” and two bonus audio tracks called "The World" and a live version of ”Burn In Hell".
